R&D Workshop

​On the 11th of May 2017 , the Ministry of Education led a workshop with a wide range of stakeholders from across the R&D ecosystem to review the findings arising from a current state review:

  • The Ministry of Education collaborated with several R&D ecosystem stakeholders to collect their views to define the focus of the R&D program and the associated roadmap.
 
  • More than 30 key stakeholders from across the Kingdom’s R&D ecosystem attended the above workshop, including 20 Research and Development organizations, in which the strategic framework was validated and the future of the sector in Saudi Arabia  was discussed.
 
  • The active contribution of the workshop participants was greatly appreciated and further engagement with the ecosystem will be planned to tap their expertise further as specific improvement efforts take shape.
