Emails have been sent to the eleven institutions judged to be successful in their applications by the independent Post-Doc Evaluation Panel. These institutions have been advised to begin their recruitment process.
Emails have also been sent to the applicants that have not been successful on this occasion.

The Ministry of Education previously announced the release of a new Post-Doctoral Fellowships program. This program will award grants to develop and support outstanding early career researchers in Saudi Arabia's publicly-funded universities. The program is available primarily for Saudi nationals conducting early career research in the scientific, engineering, medical and health sciences disciplines.
The Post-Doctoral Fellowships program consists of grants given to universities to support young Post-Doctoral Fellows to conduct key research, in line with national strategic priorities. These Fellowships aim to strengthen the research capabilities within our Universities, as well as develop and advance the skills and career prospects of the Fellows.
The Fellowship program consists of three elements:
An Individual Fellowship award to cover compensation and associated expenses;
An annual Fellowship Support Grant to cover research-related costs; and
An annual grant made to universities to support Post-Doctoral Training Programs.
The initial Fellowship program cohort will commence in Fall 2018, and will be funded for a 2-3 year period. Two subsequent cohorts will follow for AY 2019-20 and AY 2020-21.
